Terms of Service
Article 1 (Applicability)
These Terms govern the conditions of use for BizHonyaku ("the Service"). By using the Service, users agree to these Terms.
Article 2 (Registration)
Registration is completed when the applicant agrees to these Terms, applies via the method specified by the Service, and the Service approves the application. Minors must obtain parental consent.
Article 3 (Prohibited Activities)
Users must not: violate laws or public order; engage in criminal activity; place excessive load on Service servers; infringe on the rights of other users or third parties; interfere with Service operations; inappropriately upload documents containing confidential or personal information; decompile or reverse-engineer the Service.
Article 4 (Translation Quality and Formatting)
The Service provides AI-assisted translation. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend professional review for legal documents, medical documents, or other contexts requiring high precision. The Service does not guarantee complete accuracy of translations. Additionally, translated output is delivered in a clean text-based layout. Original document formatting — including images, tables, multi-column layouts, custom fonts, and exact page breaks — may not be fully preserved. Because text length can differ significantly between languages (for example, English and Japanese translations may vary by 30–50% in character count), paragraph structure and pagination will naturally change. Users should treat translated files as content drafts and re-apply visual formatting as needed.
Article 5 (Intellectual Property)
Copyright of documents uploaded by users remains with the users. Translated documents are also the property of users. The Service makes no claim to rights over this content.
Article 6 (Service Changes)
The Service may change or suspend its content with prior notice to users. In emergencies, notice may be provided after the fact.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
The Service is not liable for damages arising from the use of translation results, to the extent permitted by law. The same applies to damages caused by service interruptions or suspension.
Article 8 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
